I took the advice of the police officer and sent my statement to the insurance company. I waited for the police to ring like they said they would. The 3 dates I gave them went past. I had an appointment with my councilor and discussed my situation and my fears of their reaction to the fraud investigation. After listening to me she recommend I asked the police to remove Dads firearms for the duration I needed to enter the property. I also informed the police that I believed this is not a civil matter this is a criminal matter, these are company assets. I am a disabled director and I am being taken advantage of for financial gain.
A week had pasted so I rang the very nice and helpful police officer that was full of advice. Her whole demeaner had changed, she was no longer helpful. She was dismissive of the matter, they are just lowballing you she said. I replied low balling is offering a cheaper price, they are trying to convince me I should give them my assets for NO COST. I asked about entry to the property and again she was dismissive claiming that she didn’t say she would do that. I explain that she asked me for 3 dates I was available and again she said no, you need to ring police link for that. I felt very let down, I followed her advice and now she has left me hanging with no help.

Statement
“I Edward Elson am writing this as I have some concerns for my safety while removing my assets from 177 Station Rd Bethania. I know my farther David John Elson has a community reputation as an ex-police officer and for his work in politics however I know him as my farther. He has personally explained to me in great detail what he would do to anyone that attacked his family. Down to what he would do with the body. He would take it out to the road that goes from Bollon to Cunnamulla or the dirt road that goes from Cunnamulla to Cheepie, he would find a property where the timber has been cleared and piled up for burning, he would put the body on one of the piles and light all the piles up so as not to draw attention to the fire with the body in it. He is well trained and despite his age still shots regularly and is a very good shot even at moving targets. Just this year he shot 3 pigs from one mob and they were all running. I spoke to my councillor today and she agrees with me, he is not only telling people that I am attacking him, this is evident in the email from my sister Name Removed that I have provided stating “I don’t have the right to attack Mum and Dad”, but he believes I am attacking him.

So I took police advice and I rang police link to arrange access. This was arranged for the 17/11/2021. access was denied for a week as Dad was now getting his operation and Mum would not be home for the whole week.
The next week I drove 30 mins to Dads with a friend and waited down the road for police, the same thing occurred where they were not home for another week. When the police officer rang me I asked if I could drive by and see if one of them were home. He said yes and that I could call back and he would come straight away. I drove past and only my sister was there. I waited down the road an hour or so and I drove past again.
Third week I paid for someone to come and help me and we waited again. Police were not available. Every week I needed to ring police link and book it in again.
Forth week police rang that morning to make sure I was available and they said they would ring back after talking to Mum and Dad. No reply.
I wasn’t home the next day and after I returned home I received a text from Mum.
“Your equipment has been delivered to your back gate, as there was no response from you”
There was a picture of about $1200 worth of assets on the foot path. I checked my phone messages and missed calls, nothing. I checked my emails, nothing. I was not happy that a portion of my assets were left on the street. I felt let down by the police as there are more assets of greater value to retrieve and I was not able to arrange what is needed for transport. I felt my parents were determined to make this as hard and as costly as possible for me. So I emailed a list of all the assets I owned that they have not made an offer on, that they have not indicated they wanted to purchase, that were not jointly owned so I could start removing my assets. I’d had enough of these games.

- Hot room, inspect and arrange transport. Can you please remove items from my hotroom and provide clear working room.

Items A to F have been agreed to in writing. I will be arranging contractors to remove these items and transport, I will have them contact you directly. No one is to touch any of these items without written permission from myself and no one is permitted to open my shipping container. I do not agree to my assets being left on the side of the road unattended. Can you please agree that I am right to remove the other 3 items. If you have any objections about what is the property of Elson Apiaries Pty Ltd point them out now so there is no more confusion.
As you can see I will still require access to the property as described above. As you are still using our shared assets I will need to inspect them to see that they are maintained and are in good order. Considering their value this is not unreasonable. I hope we can arrange this without the need for police and in a proper business fashion. However I will be bring someone with me for personal reasons.“
